I believe that there
comes a time in everybody’s life when we all need a place of sanctuary,
a place where we can unwind be ourselves and escape from the stresses
that life brings along. I found Lothlorien Retreat to be that
very place, a place of refuge, a sanctuary, a home away from home, an
escape from the everyday stresses of life, a place where I could have
time to reflect on what is really important to me in my life.
Lothlorien is set in the most tranquil of settings and the best thing
is that you get the entire place to yourself which includes all the
privacy in the world. The hosts are the most awesome warm hearted
people you can meet. Wendy’s treatments are fantastic and
equivalent to those of which you would receive in a day spa!
THANK YOU so very much for Lothlorien, Wendy and Paul. It truly
is one of those unique, one of a kind places that is so very rare to
find. –
Tania, Christchurch.

I heard about
Lothlorien through the Naturopathic College and decided then
and
there that this was the place I wanted to stay during my one week
workshop.
It was a great choice! After each intense day at the College it
was
wonderful to come back to the restorative, peaceful atmosphere of this
lovely
cottage and have a chat and a laugh with vibrant, warm and most
helpful
host, Wendy.
I
will be back next year! – Ursula Muller, Whangarei

Lothlorien
is a warm and
welcoming place to stay, with lots of those little extras that make all
the difference, like the infrared sauna, beautifully made up beds, and
a fun trampoline for younger guests. – Janet, Martin & Frankie,

Lothlorien was recommended to us
by the Naturopathic College of New
Zealand and I am really glad we decided to stay there! A magical
little bungalow in a beautiful natural setting, lovely and
sunny bedrooms and the house has a warm, cosy feeling and a special
energy that surrounds it. We felt sorry to have to leave when our
time was up!
Thanks so much to Wendy for looking after us and for making us feel
really welcome, we will definitely return. – Tanya &
Keira Park, Auckland

We
were looking for somewhere we could go for a bit of a break, time-out
and relaxation. We are so pleased to have come across Lothlorien,
which offers all that and so much more!
We found the beautiful cottage to be a home away from home offering
everything we needed to really relax, Wendy is such a wonderful
hostess and fantastic cook we felt really spoilt and were really looked
after. I feel blessed to have meet Wendy and experience Reiki -
one of Wendy's many talents. Our stay at Lothlorien was such an
awesome experience, to wake up with the Tui’s singing in the trees,
relax in the hot tub, fix those aches with Bowen treatment it was all
just awesome. We only stayed one night but we left feeling like
like we had a week long holiday!!!

We stayed two nights in a
very peaceful, quiet and private cottage. The hot tub and trampoline
were a great hit for our daughter.
Thanks for the break. – Peter Fenwick, Wellington

Lothlorien was a
fabulous place to stay. We had a very special family holiday
there. Wendy and Paul are lovely people. They are warm,
friendly, thoughtful, fun and accomodating. Lothlorien has great
energy. It is a comfortable cottage in a great
location. We had everything we needed to make it an
enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Wendy and Paul went out of their
way on numerous details to make our stay special and easy
(especially with a baby and toddler). We look forward to
returning to stay in the future.
We thoroughly recommend
Lothlorien.
